This piece was based off an idea I had for Pride Month. I wanted to pay homage to the controversial opinions on Bert and Ernie's relationship in Sesame Street. It bothers me that when their previous writer stated he wrote them as a queer couple, Sesame Street claimed that muppets do not have a sexual orientation.
Um...what about Miss Piggy and Kermit?
If the show was ever brave enough to let the rumour be true, I had an idea where the iconic RuPaul could collaborate with the duo, giving them drag makeovers and making a cameo in RuPaul's legendary "Supermodel (you better work)" music video.
